The personnel was helpful, doing their best to assist. The room was extremely spacious and airy, offered useful things, such as coffee/tea making facilities and a fridge. Bidet in the private bathroom was a plus.

The staff - some of them were kind of rude.

The Casa Dei Re Bed & Breakfast in Syracuse proved to be a delightful stay. the database provided all the necessary information, making it easy to plan my visit. the room I stayed in had a breathtaking view of the city, making every sunrise and sunset an absolute delight.

There were a few minor drawbacks to my experience. there was no reception, and the staff didn't speak any English, which made communication a bit challenging and uncomfortable at times.

Snorkelling and diving were a blast, especially when I swallowed half of the sea. The airport was close, in case I wanted to escape this comedic hotel.

We had a minor hiccup during our check-in, but the owner and his friend were pretty good too ensure we had a smooth stay. They even called a kind Italian policeman who helped resolve the situation. The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely terrace with a view of the main street. The breakfast was a good mix of sweet pastries and savory options, a pleasant change from the usual. I highly recommend Casa Dei Re for its excellent location, comfortable rooms, and accommodating hosts.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better - right in the heart of the historical center! the room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. the continental breakfast offered a great variety of both sweet and savory options, ensuring there was something for everyone's taste. having a parking area just 400m away was convenient, and we appreciated the recommendation to park before dropping off our bags.

One major downside was the check-in process. We arrived within the designated time window, but no one answered the buzzer at the entrance.
